Congratulations to Colin Morison for his first-placed photo « Sunrise » in the February photo competition. There were 3 entries tied for 2nd place; Colin Browning with “The Loire Poppy”, and Maureen Sargent with her photos “Rainbow” and “Murmuration”.

Come along and enjoy readings from a selection of the best English-language novels chosen by our members. A true celebration of the written word, this event is open to anyone aged 16 and over. Refreshments will be served after the readings. We are still looking for a few more readers to share their favourite works. If you are interested, please contact Alix. The Big Quiz is back for one final fling in Rue Boisnet ! Enjoy a fun, fast-paced quiz with varied challenges. Wine, coffee, tea, snacks, and cakes available all afternoon. €12 per person, with all proceeds supporting the library. Bring your English-speaking French friends! Teams of 6 are each color-coded—show your team spirit and wear your team color ! |

Regional Public Speaking competition starting at 2pm in Les Salons In the Salons de la Présidence, Place Michel Debré, Angers Départemental de Maine-et-Loire. Students from local schools will deliver their speeches to families, teachers, friends and members of the partner associations in the presence of Yann Semler-Collery, Président de la Commission Culture du Département de Maine-et-Loire
