Visit to “Les Rairies Montrieux”

This family business was established early in the 20th century beside a clay quarry.  Originally producing traditional clay floor tiles, today the factory manufactures a vast range of bricks and ceramic tiles for both interior and exterior construction and decoration.

The guided visit in English will start promptly at 2pm and will last until 4pm, during which time visitors will be supplied with yellow vests, safety helmets and headsets.

To conform with safety requirements, the visit will be limited to 25 people.  To secure a place, please reply to Dorothy Morison quickly and please note that priority will be given to ESU Loire Valley members.

The factory is situated approximately 15 km from the restaurant.  To allow travelling time, we shall need to leave the Clef d’Or by 1.30pm.

Please email Dorothy Morison, indicating whether you wish to attend both the meal and the visit or either of the two.  Please give your name(s) with a contact telephone number and your menu choices and indicate your intended payment method.  Please note that non-members will be put on a waiting list and notified if places for the visit are available.  If you have special dietary requirements or can offer or would like a lift to the venue, please tell Dorothy:  coldors@hotmail.co.uk
