Jackie Reeves and her family have most kindly offered to host the August event for us this year. As in previous years it will be an informal gathering providing the perfect opportunity for members to mingle freely and to bring along families and friends. Due to so many restrictions regarding bbq’s, it will take the form of a picnic with oven baked pork, lamb and salmon accompanied by a selection of fresh salads. Please indicate on your email or application if you require a vegetarian or vegan option instead.
You are invited to arrive from 12 noon onwards for an aperitif. Food will be served from 1.00pm. Please bring your own tables and chairs plus sufficient plates, glasses, cups and cutlery for you and your guests. Jackie has several dogs so please DO NOT bring dogs or other pets with you. There will be a ‘bottle’ raffle during the afternoon and, if you are able to contribute to the prizes, please indicate this in your application.

Please tell Dorothy if you have dietary requirements, can offer or would like a lift to the venue, or can contribute a raffle prize. When you open the link, look at the box on the left, click on ‘Directions’, insert your starting point and you should be shown the route plus distance and timing.
When you reach the front gate, please open it and drive in. Once inside, please close the gate again. Parking is in the field immediately to your right and will be signposted. There is plenty of space. After parking, take your table and chairs etc and stroll up through the wooded area or the gravel drive to the seating area, which will be on your left in between the trees of the orchard. In the event of rain, walk up the drive and continue along until you reach the main house. The barn opposite will be open, and you can set up your tables there. Unless you are disabled, please do not bring cars up to the house as parking space is very limited.
Cost: €22 per head for Members and €26 for non-members,
to include aperitif + nibbles, wine, coffee or tea.
