In a break with tradition, the annual Treasure Hunt is taking place at the end of May 2022, and not in September.
Participants should arrive at the check-in point in the car park of the Mairie in Chênehutte by 15h30. Maps and clues will be distributed before 16h00.
We cannot guarantee that these clues will be any easier than those conceived by our dear departed friend, the ESU LV Walking Encyclopaedia, Terence O’Hara, to whom we owe many years of fun and controversy at our Treasure Hunts. We can, however, promise you a most enjoyable and rewarding afternoon.
Please note the finish time of 18h45 at the restaurant if you do not wish to incur penalties.
Non-competing members and friends are most welcome to join us for dinner and should arrive by 19h15 with the meal starting at 19h30.
Attendance slips containing full details of the programme and menu choices have been distributed.

We will be joined by the “Loire Valley Voices”, a multi-cultural bi-lingual choir from Fontevraud, who will entertain us.
The committee is hoping to welcome a large number of members, along with families and friends, and an invitation will be sent to other English-speaking groups in the region, and also to other ESU branches in France.
The festivities will include a picnic lunch, a decorated hat competition, and an exhibition of members’ royal memorabilia and photos taken with various members of the British royal family.
Please note the date in your diaries and keep it free as we would like a large gathering.
